Peggy Fussell
Illustrator and Animator
Peggy Fussell is an illustrator, animator, and teaching-artist. Her Illustration and animation clients include Alfred Publishing, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, The Baltimore Sun, Harcourt School Publishers, Johns Hopkins University and more. As coordinator of Family Programs at The Walters Art Museum, she created accessible experiences with art and media for all ages. Peggy is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Screen Cultures and Curatorial Studies at Queen’s University. Her research connects early media technologies such as optical toys and craft-based animation with current theories of art education. She is particularly interested in creating programs that encourage slow looking and extended conversations.
